Who runs this
This site, beatswithkev.com, is run by Kevin Famuyiro through BWK Media Group LLC. By using it, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
The email list is for people 13 and over.
The free tools
Signal Check, the EQ Trainer, the Compression Trainer, the Genre Map and Music Money Splits are free to use. They're provided as-is, with no warranty of any kind.
The measurements are guidance. They're there to help you make decisions with your own ears. They can be off, and streaming platforms change how they handle loudness. Nothing on this site is legal, financial or professional mastering advice. If a release matters, trust your ears and get a second pair of ears on it.
Music Money Splits
The splits tool is educational only, not legal advice. Every deal is its own thing. For your actual contract, talk to a music attorney. A split sheet records who agreed to what. It doesn't replace a contract.
Your audio
Your music stays yours. When you use the tools, your audio is processed in your browser and never uploaded to this site. I don't get any rights to it. Please only drop in files you have the right to use. The Privacy Policy covers the rest of what happens in your browser.
Buying things
Digital products (cheat sheets, templates, Genre Blueprints) are sold through Gumroad, and Gumroad runs the checkout. Refunds follow what each product page says and Gumroad's terms. Music on Bandcamp and merch on Fourthwall follow those stores' terms.
What belongs to me
The writing, videos, tools, code and designs on this site, and the Beats With Kev and BWK names and logos, belong to BWK Media Group LLC and Kevin Famuyiro. Share links as much as you like. Quote a line with credit. Please don't copy whole pages, tools or products, or use the brand in a way that makes it look like I endorse you.

Some links on the /card page are affiliate links. If you buy through one, I earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That page says so right above the links.
Copyright concerns
If you think something on this site uses your work without permission, email kevin@bwkmediagroup.com. Say what the work is, where it shows up on the site, and how to reach you. I'll look into it and get back to you.
Limits on liability
I can't promise the site or the tools are error-free or always available. As far as the law allows, BWK Media Group LLC and Kevin Famuyiro aren't responsible for any loss that comes from using this site or relying on its tools, measurements or content. That includes a release that didn't land the way you hoped. If the law where you live gives you rights these terms can't take away, you keep them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top of this page will change with them. Using the site after that means you accept the new version. This page is written in plain language. It isn't legal advice.
